The Four Core Phases of Investment-centric Land & Property Development
The investment-centric real estate acquisition and development cycle generally has four core phases, each with its unique risks, costs, and returns. Each core phase has its own time frame, and each core phase should be viewed as a separate opportunity for returns on the capital investment. Core phases will invariably overlap in many instances, but generally, these four core phases of land development represent when value is added and/or realized throughout the overall life of the project.
